CRWNMAG x Nappy Head Club

Each issue of the magazine is an exhibit of the best of Black culture and lifestyle. The CRWNMAG GiftShop is a place for you to discover the THINGS that reflect that culture and lifestyle. The GiftShop is our playground for taste-making and sharing products from Black artists and brands that we love. Readers of the magazine and journal will be given early access and discounts on artist collaborations and exclusive product drops.

This month, we’re thrilled to launch our Afrofuturism-focused capsule collection in partnership with Nappy Head Club. We collaborated with our sisters to produce Child of the Afrofuture — a small array of apparel and accessories focused on how we see the future and how we will make it there. In our exploration, we’ve concluded that our future must be freedom and that freedom is something to be built rather than won.

Our favorite piece of the capsule is an understated Champion crewneck sweatshirt that reads, The True Way to Fight is to Build, a mantra that reminds us of the daily work required to create the world that we want to live in.
