MOODBOARDT: The Beautiful Mind of Lauren Woods
Our MOODBOARDT Series takes dive into the inspirations and career of creator each week, and this week we're navigating the work of Lauren Woods: a non-binary photographer exploring color, intimacy and the diverse spectrum of sexuality through a soft, analog practice.
Woods’ film of choice and editing style invokes a sense of etherial, dreamlike memory and timelessness. Through their diligent practice, they suspend delicate moments of intimacy, family, identity and platonic love in time. During our interview Woods expressed a devotion to freedom of expression—and hopes that their work can be a gateway into, “all the rich diversity that I aspire to have and want people to see in this world.”
We’ve mixed Lauren’s inspirations below into a body of their work which services to be a pallet of understanding around how visuals and inspiration transfer and feed from each other.
