To CRWN Muse Tre Crews, beauty is far more than the balance and symmetry of a face but of the stories within collarbones, the vastness of chests, the curves of ankles or or length of a leg. His Florida beach town residency flavors his work with nature and the textures, colors, shapes and culture of natural world. Crews’ marvelously detailed work can be seen in both personal and brand editorials where light, shadow and warm tones explore the sculpture of bodies, black and brown queer lives, and channeling femininity masculine masculine frames.

During his IG Live interview, Crews expressed a love for pressing his male models into colors, shapes and poses that makes them explore both themselves and the boundaries of their masculinity. When asked about whether or not he had been met with pushback, he admitted to some nervousness from those who sit for him, but that his models are pleasantly surprised to see how they communicate the stories through their Crews’ lens.
