Creative Reception — Brooklyn
You are a part of one of the most powerful creative communities in the country. We're telling our story in new ways and changing the way Black people are seen in media. The Creative Reception by @CRWNMAG is, in part, a celebration of that fact; and an opportunity to exchange ideas, techniques and resources with your contemporaries.
We will be opening the event with a formal critique of selected works from a handful of applicants. We could all benefit from having other credible photographers challenge our creative choices and offer recommendations for improvements. Deun Ivory, Mark Clennon, and CRWNMAG Chief Creative, Nkrumah Farrar will lead a discussion about technique and an interactive critique of eight shooters at various skill levels.
