This Sunday, August 12th join CRWN for the third Annual Project Beauty Expo! This beauty expo is not your conventional expo marked by rows of undistinguished products - #PBE is a highly curated, interconnected space of products made for and by multicultural women in the beauty industry. The platform provides an intimate experience for both consumers and retailers. Whether you’re attending to “network and chill,” sample a new product, or to support a fellow Black women entrepreneur, #PBE2018 is bound to hold an opportunity for any attendee invested in natural beauty, wellness, and healthy living. Founder Brittany Brown had just launched Moneé Cosmetics when she recognized the lack of multicultural women in the natural beauty industry. PBE is her brainchild, born out of a widespread movement of women of color reclaiming their seat in the wellness industry.

During the inaugural Project Beauty Expo, CRWN’s co founder Lindsey Day was a panelist alongside Jeygorjess, Desiree Verdejo of Vivrant Beauty, Kitiya King of Mischief Beauty, and Judy Acevedo. The wisdom shared in the space last year ran the gamut from entrepreneurial lessons to makeup and hair tutorials. And this year we’re honored to ring in the third year of melanin-infused festivities -- selling our latest issues of CRWN!

#PBE2018 boasts a versatile list of well-known and on the rise indie brands including VIP Smiles, From the Heart Organics, Blade + BloomGirl + Hair, BLK+GRN, Brooklyn Limegreen, Marjani Beauty, Beige Flor Naturals, Kaike, Base Butter, Bloomsbury Square, Cosmic Juice, Terra Tory, and Aba Love Apothecary. CRWN will also be in the building selling the Love Issue! Attendees can connect directly with natural beauty brand founders, influencers, and bloggers, as well as sample a plethora of one-of-kind products.

Guests can also experience the Panel of Boss Women, moderated by Leah Thomas of Kimberly Naturals, where panelists Yve-Car Mompermousee of Kreyol Essence, Tonya Lewis Lee of Movita Organics, Siraad Dirshe of Essence will discuss cultivating strength and positive manifestation in everyday life.

Our buying power matters. Show up and show out with your girlfriends and your dollars this Sunday August 12th, at Hudson Mercantile Annex 38!
