Blavity's EmpowerHer17 Conference Goes to Chicago!

Still making your summer plans? We got you covered! For their second annual EmpowerHer conference, Blavity will be going to Chicago, June 9th - 10th. Early bird tickets sold out even before the speakers were announced. The newly released lineup includes Editor-in-Chief/SVP of Ebony, Kyra Kyles, actor/producer Lena Waithe and New York Times bestselling author Luvvie Ajayi to name a few. 

Moving the event from New York, where is was held in 2016, to Chicago this year was a purposeful decision by Blavity Co-Founder and CEO Morgan DeBaun. She felt that the Midwest was often overlooked as a conference stop. Plus, she wanted everyone to have a chance to experience summertime Chi.
