Teen Vogue Might’ve Made Their Boldest Move Yet

Last week, Amandla Stenberg, actress and current Teen Vogue cover model, joined forces with other notable naturalistas in a video entitled, “Things Black Girls are Tired of Hearing.” We know—the internet isn’t void of black girls proudly proclaiming rights to their blackness. But we’re shedding happy tears for Teen Vogue’s confident burst into both natural hair commentary and the discussion of being black in America. Yes, the “Oh my God—you talk like a white person!” bit made a cameo.

Filmmaker Franchesca Ramsey said, “Everyone has a tendency to call out who’s different.”
